The Statistical Office in Warszawa presents the twenty-fourth edition of the “Statistical Yearbook of Mazowieckie Voivodship”. The publication contains a rich set of information characterising the standard of living of society and the state of the Voivodship’s economy. The latest data presented in this edition of the Yearbook concern the period at the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. To make it easier for you to assess the impact of the pandemic on the situation in the Voivodship, the publication adopts 2019 as the new reference period. In the current edition of the Yearbook, the previously presented results of the National Population and Housing Census 2021 have been supplemented with information on households, families and persons with disabilities. This edition also includes minor changes resulting from modifications and development of official statistics surveys. I would like to draw particular attention to the change in some data compared to those previously published. This includes, among others: results of the household budget survey for 2021, which was prepared using data from the National Population and Housing Census 2021. Detailed statistical data are grouped into 21 thematic chapters. Some of them have been enriched with a graphical presentation of selected data for 2022 according to the Delimitation of Rural Areas (DOW) and for urban areas by size. Moreover, the population projection until 2060 is presented in the “Population” chapter. The study ends with two review tables containing major data about the Voivodship in 2000, 2010, 2015 and 2022, as well as selected information about the Voivodship compared to the country in 2022. When developing individual chapters, the results of statistical surveys from official statistics were used, as well as from non-statistical sources. Administrative sources are used on an increasingly larger scale in official statistics surveys. In this edition of the Yearbook, starting from information for 2022, data on employed persons calculated using these sources has been introduced. Evaluate the study: |
