am pleased to present the latest edition of the “Statistical Yearbook of Mazowieckie Voivodship.” This is the twenty-sixth edition of a comprehensive publication that presents key data on the standard of living and living conditions of the population, the economic situation, and the natural environment of the Voivodship. The data presented in this edition of the Yearbook covers the year 2024. To illustrate changes over time, some issues are presented in a multi-year retrospective. For most topics, the presentation dates back to 2015.

Detailed statistical data is grouped into 21 thematic chapters. Some of them are enriched with graphical presentations of selected data for 2024 according to the Delimitation of Rural Areas (DOW) and for urban areas by size. The publication concludes with two overview tables containing key data on the Voivodship in 2010, 2015, 2020 and 2024, as well as selected information on the Voivodship compared to the rest of the country in 2024.

The individual sections were developed based on the results of official statistics surveys, as well as non-statistical sources, including the increasingly widespread use of administrative registers. Furthermore, this edition of the Yearbook draws on data from a representative survey of the structure of wages and salaries by occupation, conducted biennially.
