The Statistical Office in Warszawa is pleased to present the twentieth edition of the “Statistical Yearbook of Mazowieckie Voivodship”. The Yearbook includes information characterising living conditions of society and the state of the economy of the voivodship.

Detailed statistical data on the voivodship have been grouped in 22 chapters, preceded by general notes explaining terminology, methodology and scope of information used in the publication. Three review tables containing major data on the voivodship in the years 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2014–2018 and selected data on the voivodship compared with the rest of the country as well as its regions and subregions in 2018 are presented at the beginning of the publication. 

The presented statistical information has been enriched with maps and charts.

In this edition of the Yearbook, we gathered all the information regarding households, dwellings and municipal infrastructure in a new chapter “Households. Dwellings.” Moreover, the data regarding national accounts for 2015  and 2016 were changed in relation to those published in the previous edition following the revision in the annual national accounts, made in accordance with the guidelines included in the latest edition of the ”Manual on Government Deficit and Debt” (MGDD, 2019 edition). 

Survey results of official statistics as well as non-statistical sources of information have been used while compiling the publication.
