The Statistical Office in Warszawa is pleased to present the twenty-second edition of the “Statistical Yearbook of Mazowieckie Voivodship”. The Yearbook includes information characterising living conditions of the society and the state of the economy of the Voivodship.

Detailed statistical data on the Voivodship have been grouped in 21 chapters. The study ends with two review tables containing major data on the Voivodship in the years 2000, 2010, 2015 and 2020 and selected data on the Voivodship against the background of the country in 2020. The published statistical material was supplemented with general notes explaining terminology, methodology and scope of information used in the publication.

In this edition of the Yearbook, we gathered the information regarding trade and catering as well as price indices of consumer goods and services in a new chapter “Trade. Prices”. The current edition presents the preliminary results of the 2020 Agricultural Census. Moreover, the data on income in the household sector for the years 2010–2018 were changed in relation to those previously published, following changes introduced in annual national accounts.

Survey results of official statistics as well as non-statistical sources of information have been used while compiling the publication.

On 11th January 2022, the PDF and Excel files of the Statistical Yearbook of Mazowieckie Voivodship 2021 were modified by replacing table 13 (28) on page 44 (Chapter IV Population). The data for 2020 has changed.
