The decrease in the number of economically inactive persons on the labour market and the increase in the employment rate compared to II quarter 2019 had a positive impact on the state of the economy. A reduction in the ratio of non-working age population to working age population was also observed. The situation on the labour market has not deteriorated despite the increase in the number of unemployed.

Basic indices characterising the socio-economic situation of the Capital City of Warsaw, i.a. in terms of the labour market, and wages and salaries, industry, construction and trade. Information is characterized by an attractive form of graphics in the form of cartograms. Information is presented according to selected sections of PKD 2007.

The study contains an analytical comment divided into thematic sections, enriched with a graphic illustration in the form of graphs and maps, and a tabular part in which detailed statistical data are presented. The whole is complemented by general and methodological notes at the end of the publication. The edition was prepared in the Polish-English language version.

Detailed statistical data on the voivodship have been grouped in 22 chapters, preceded by general notes explaining terminology, methodology and scope of information used in the publication. Three review tables containing major data on the voivodship in the years 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2014–2018 and selected data on the voivodship compared with the rest of the country as well as its regions and subregions in 2018 are presented at the beginning of the publication.
