This publication aims to present the most important topics in the field of the labour market regarding the employed, the unemployed, working conditions, accidents at work and wages and salaries. Through its scope and cross-section, it strengthens the system of monitoring cohesion policy in the region.

The study consists of a synthesis of survey results, analytical texts enriched with charts and cartograms illustrating many phenomena occurring in Mazowieckie Voivodship, and statistical tables available in electronic version. In order to illustrate and analyse the changes taking place in Mazowieckie Voivodship, selected data have been included in the retrospective since 2015.

The study was prepared using the results of statistical surveys from official statistics, including data obtained from the Ministry of Family and Social Policy. The presented data on employed persons was obtained for the first time from the information systems of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund, the Social Insurance Institution and the Ministry of Finance.
