The Development Strategy of Mazowieckie Voivodship 2030+ presents a long-term vision of the development of the Voivodship. It indicates areas of strategic intervention along with directions of action, expressing their specific development needs.

The development policy, included in the Strategy, was focused on the areas determining the competitiveness of the Voivodship, as well as leveling development differences between its individual territories and subregions. These areas are mainly related to stimulating economic activity, supporting competitiveness, and social inclusion, which reflects the desire to achieve social and economic cohesion of the Voivodship.

An important aspect of the development of the Voivodship is also the use of human capital in the development of a modern, innovative and sustainable economy that is friendly to the climate and the environment. The principle of implementation of the development policy should be the rational management of space, maintaining a balance between the environment and human activity.”

This publication is a response to the needs of local government authorities and representatives of local government units. It characterises both the differentiation within region mazowiecki regionalny, as well as its position among other regions of Poland, and is a supplement to the publication published for years, Region Warszawski Stołeczny.
