This publication describes the demographic situation of Mazowieckie voivodship in 2013 and consists of four parts presenting the following information:

• size and structure of the population;
• marriages, separations, divorces, births and deaths;
• internal and international migrations of population;
• ranking of powiats and gminas according to selected indicators.

Tables contain data for population of the voivodship (by urban and rural area), of the Capital City of Warsaw as well as of powiats and gminas, by sex and age.

The main part of the publication is preceded by four review tables containing selected information on population and intensity of demographic phenomena, with the first one presenting the demographic phenomena in Mazowieckie voivodship in 2000 and 2005–2013, and the next three – reviewing current information on subregions and powiats of the voivodship as well as districts of the Capital City of Warsaw.

The publication is supplemented with the A n n e x, containing data on the population as of 30 VI 2013, which is the basis for the calculation of most demographic rates for 2013.
