The objective of the Centre is identification and analysis, in cooperation with the Central Statistical Office, of the existing and currently developed information systems, including the possibility of using them by the official statistics, and developing methods for integration and standardisation of data from the information systems of public administration.

In particular, the tasks of the Centre include:

• cooperation with the Central Statistical Office regarding development of methods for employing data from information systems of public administration for national censuses,
• cooperation with the Central Statistical Office in developing methods of integration and standardisation of data from information systems of public administration,
• cooperation with the Central Statistical Office in the field of updating information base describing the scope of data gathered in information systems of public administration,
• conducting works aimed at identifying possibilities of obtaining and using data from administrative sources for the needs of statistics in order to reduce the burden placed on the reporting entities by the statistical surveys programme of the official statistics,
• cooperation with entities running and creating information systems with respect to using uniform methodologies, classifications, terminology and definitions,
• cooperation with public administration bodies functioning in Mazowieckie voivodship in the domain of creating information systems and using administrative data for the needs of statistics.
