Foreigners on the Masovian labour market in 2023

The year 2023 in Mazowieckie Voivodship was third in a row in which the number of work permits for foreigners decreased annually and amounted to almost 65 thousand. Work permits were most often issued to Indian citizens (almost 10 thousand) and this number increased by over 18% annually.

Statistics of gminas and powiats of the Mazowieckie voivodship in 2015 and 2022

Social and economic transformations on a local scale and the strengthening of the role of local government increase the demand for broadly understood statistical information on gminas and powiats. Thinking about local authorities and residents of Mazowieckie Voivodship, the Statistical Office in Warszawa has prepared the eighteenth edition of the study entitled "Statistics of gminas and powiats of Mazowieckie Voivodship in 2015 and 2022". It is a supplement to the publications of the Statistics Poland and the Office describing the diversity of selected elements of the socio-economic potential of gminas and powiats in Mazowieckie Voivodship. The technical solutions used enable both quick access to data and the presentation of indicators in a form tailored to the individual needs of the user. Commuting to work in Mazowieckie Voivodship in the light of the results of the 2021 Census

In Mazowieckie Voivodship in 2021, 730.9 thousand employees commuted to work outside their gmina of residence, which constituted 14.1% of all commuters in the country. There were more incoming commuters than outgoing ones, and the ratio of work-related commuting flows was 3.67 and was the highest in Poland.
