Selected information gathered in the census was used to present characteristics of active natural person’s holdings with a headquarter in towns and their share in a whole group of natural person’s holdings in the voivodship.

The publication aims at presenting, by means of cartograms and diagrams, selected information illustrating agriculture in rural areas of mazowieckie voivodship. Rural areas include rural gminas and rural areas ofrural and urban gminas. The publication in a synthetic way contains iriformation from selected fields of agriculture. In order to illustrate changes in agriculture in rural areas of mazowieckie voivodship, selected datafrom AC 2010 were compared with datafrom AC 2002. The compilation of data on characteristic features of rural areas, brings closer the picture of transformation of Mazovian countryside.

This publication contains analytical and tabular part, which comprise a set of information on such aspects of socio-economic life of the region as: size and structure of population, labour market, wages and salaries, pensions, prices, agriculture, sold production of industry and construction, housing construction, internal market, financial results and investment outlays of enterprises. The analytical part, apart from tables and charts, contains basic methodological explanations.
