At the end of 2023, there were 1011413 entities of the national economy registered, i.e. by 4.4% more than in the previous year. More than half of the units (54.7%) had their seat in m.st. Warszawa. The largest number of entities (19.5%) declared that they operated in trade; repair of motor vehicles, however the highest increase as compared to 2022 occurred in the section of information and communication (by 11.4%).

In Mazowieckie Voivodship in the 2022/23 school year, 136,000 students, i.e. 17.8% of all persons aged 7-19, left their place of residence for primary and post-primary schools for children and youth. The incoming students constituted 5.8% of primary school students and 42.0% of secondary school students.

At the end of 2023, there were 552771 entities of the national economy registered, i.e. by 5.2% more than a year before. In the total number of entities, natural persons conducting economic activity prevailed (54.9%). The majority of entities (19.3%) conducted professional, scientific and technical activities. Out of the total number of entities, the vast majority (91.4%) belonged to the private sector.
