Given the obligation to transmit statistical data in electronic form, introduced by the Order of the Council of Ministers of 27 November 2008 on the programme of statistical surveys of official statistics for 2009 (Journal of Laws No. 221, item 1436), the organisation of surveys conducted by the official statistics services has changed. Since 1 January 2009 each of the sixteen statistical offices conducts surveys in a relevant thematic field. According to the mode of organisation adopted, Statistical Office in Warsaw conducts surveys in the domain of non-financial enterprises statistics.
