Summary:
The publication aims at presenting, by means of cartograms and diagrams, selected information illustrating agriculture in rural areas of mazowieckie voivodship. Rural areas include rural gminas and rural areas ofrural and urban gminas. The publication in a synthetic way contains iriformation from selected fields of agriculture. In order to illustrate changes in agriculture in rural areas of mazowieckie voivodship, selected datafrom AC 2010 were compared with datafrom AC 2002. The compilation of data on characteristic features of rural areas, brings closer the picture of transformation of Mazovian countryside.

The publication comprises five thematic blocks: agricultural holdings, land use, agricultural and horticultural crops, farm animals and agricultural machinery and means ofproduction in 2010. Each chapter contains a set ofmaps characterizing agricultural holdings in 2010, and, for selected subjects, changes which had taken place since the previous agricultural census conducted in 2010. Each thematic block is preceded with a short analytical comment, explanations of census definitions and concepts. Data included in the tabular annex are supplementing iriformation presented in the chapters.
