2018 was the next year in which the number of dwellings increased. The average dwelling size was over 72 m2. The average number of persons per dwelling decreased. Compared to 2018, the number and amount of housing allowances paid decreased.

Detailed statistical data were grouped in 22 chapters, preceded by general notes explaining terminology, methodology and scope of information used in the publication. The published statistical material has been enriched mainly with charts and cartograms.

The Yearbook includes information characterising living conditions of the society and the state of the economy of the voivodship. Detailed statistical data on the voivodship have been grouped in 22 chapters. The study ends with two review tables containing major data on the voivodship in the years 2000, 2010, 2015 and 2019 and selected data on the voivodship compared with the rest of the country in 2019. The published statistical material was supplemented with general notes explaining terminology, methodology and scope of information used in the publication.

In 2019, the amount of municipal waste generated decreased as compared to the previous year. There was an average of 281 kg of municipal waste collected from households per one inhabitant of the voivodship. The number of municipal waste landfills was lower than a year before.
