As of 31 XII 2017, the number of dwellings increased commpared to the end of 2016. The average size of a dwelling amounted to over 72 m2, and the average number of rooms in a dwelling — 3.63. In 2017, there were alomost 16 thous. social premises in gmina stocks of Mazowieckie voivodship. Compared to 2016, the number and amount of housing allowances paid decreased.

In 2017, the amount of municipal waste generated increased as compared to the previous year (14.8% of share in the country). There was an average of 294 kg of municipal waste collected from households per 1 inhabitant of the voivodship. The number of municipal waste landfills was lower than a year before.
