Tables in this part are compiled at Statistical Office in Warsaw on the basis of database created by Central Statistical Office of Hungary in cooperation with statistical offices of selected east-european countries.

Data presented in tables are compiled on the basis of material which is not always comparable in respect of methodology and report periods. Type of definition of terms concerning the same thing has major influence on level and comparability of data. Differences concerning eg. vital statistics are result of different definitions used by selected countries.

Some of given information may be different from previously published due to data verification in current edtions of foreign source materials.
