The Statistical Office in Warszawa presents the 41st edition of the Statistical Yearbook of Warszawa. The publication contains a set of information characterising the living conditions of the society and the state of the economy of the Capital City of Warsaw.

The latest data presented in this edition of the Yearbook concern the period at the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to facilitate the assessment of the impact of the pandemic on the socio-economic situation, 2019 was adopted as the new reference period in the publication.

This edition of the Yearbook has been enriched with information on the population projection for 2025–2060 and the economic activity of the population based on the National Population and Housing Census 2021.

Detailed statistical data were grouped in 21 thematic chapters preceded by general notes containing explanations regarding the terminology, methodology and scope of information. The statistical material is enriched with a graphic illustration in the form of charts and cartograms. The publication was prepared in the Polish-English language version.

The results of statistical surveys of official statistics as well as non-statistical sources were used in the development of individual chapters.

At the same time, we encourage Readers interested in data on Warsaw districts to study our publication published every year entitled „Panorama of Warsaw districts”, which is a supplement to this study.
