Applications for registration in the REGON register (and changes of variables covered with the registration concerning change of name, subject of activity) can be submitted in agencies maintaining register (requested documents); certificates of assigned identification number REGON are issued free-of-charge, on the same day. Applications for changes of variables covered with the registration concerning change of the seat, number of local units and removal from the register can be submitted in agencies maintaining register and are treated free-of-charge, within 7 days from the date of submitting the application.

Forms RG-1and RG-2 together with copies of requested documents can be sent to the Office by mail. Data from registers KRUPGN (REGON) and TERYT concerning the territory of Mazowieckie Voivodship (province) can be bought upon filling in a written request in the Statistical Office in Warsaw.

Each entity of the national economy is obliged to submit to the National Official Business Register an application (for assignment of identification number, changes in features of already registered entity, removing entity from the register) accordingly to their actual and legal situation. The application should be submitted in the Statistical Office or its branch operating on the territory of voivodship on which the entity has its head office (for the natural persons on the territory of the voivodhip in which they live or stay for the purpose of permanent residence).

Applications for registration in the REGON register and applications for changes in features required by the registration forms should be submitted on the RG-1 form; applications for removing from the register should be submitted on RG-2 form. Applications should be submitted within 14 days from the occurrence of the circumstances justifying the entry, change or the removal from the register.
