The Statistical Office in Warszawa is pleased to present the fifteenth bilingual edition of publication “Mazovieckie Voivodship. Subregions, Powiats, Gminas”, which is a complementary source of information with the “Statistical Yearbook of Mazowieckie Voivodship 2019”. 

This publication includes information characterizing living conditions of the society and the state of the economy of the voivodship in units of territorial division of the voivodship. 

Statistical data on regions, subregions, powiats and gminas have been grouped in 16 chapters, preceded by general notes explaining terminology, methodology and scope of information used in the publication. 

At the beginning of the publication a review table containing major data on voivodship in years 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2014–2018 is presented. The following review table presents several aspects characterizing regional differentiation of social and economic phenomena in 2010 and 2018. Presented statistical information has been enriched with graphs.

In this edition of the Yearbook, the data regarding national accounts for 2015 and 2016 were changed in relation to those published in the previous edition following the revision in the annual national accounts, made in accordance with the guidelines included in the latest edition of the ”Manual on Government Deficit and Debt” (MGDD, 2019 edition).

Survey results of public statistics as well as non-statistical sources of information were used while compiling the publication.
