AC 2020 meets both national and European Union needs. The main purpose of the census was to provide information on the structure of agricultural holdings for the needs of the Common Agricultural Policy and other EU and national policies.

The publication consists of methodological notes, an analytical part and a tabular part. The methodological notes discuss the basic principles, definitions and notions used in the census. Analytical part includes an analysis of result information from AC 2020 according to the seat of the holder of an agricultural holding in the voivodship and powiat cross-section. In addition, an analysis of issues in gmina sections according to the seat of the agricultural holding was presented. The tabular part, which is available on the website of the Statistical Office in Warszawa, presents a wide range of numerical data collected in the thematic scopes of AC 2020, which allows for multi-sectional analyses and the selection of such criteria for grouping farms as information needs of recipients.
