The Statistical Office in Warszawa presents the publication “Families in Mazowieckie Voivodship in the light of the 2021 Census results” presenting the results of the National Population and Housing Census 2021, which was carried out in Poland in the period from 1 April to 30 September 2021 as of the state on 31 March 2021.
The presented publication is a thematic study devoted to the demographic characteristics of households and families and the population comprising them. The study contains information on the number, size and generational composition of households. In addition, the publication includes data on the number and types of families and families with children, with particular emphasis on families with dependent children aged 0–24. The wide range of data obtained in the census made it possible to present selected information against the background of the results of the 2011 Census.
The analytical commentary was enriched with a graphical presentation in the form of maps and charts, presenting selected issues in Mazowieckie Voivodship. The tabular part containing the census results on a voivodship-wide basis and by powiats and gminas is available in electronic form.
This publication is available both in a book version and on the website of the Statistical Office in Warszawa warszawa.stat.gov.pl.
