Summary:
The publication contains demographic and social characteristics of the population of mazowieckie voivodship. The publication is composed of a methodological, analytical and tabular part with census results. The publication describes a wide range of statistical data concerning the demographic status and structure of the population of voivodship, enriched by information regarding the origin and citizenship of the population, national and ethnic identity, religious denomination, the direction and level of education. The last chapter features the characteristics of persons staying in collective accommodation facilities and homeless persons. To enable possibility of conducting
analyses and balances of demographic and socio-economic changes, which occurred in 2002-2011, basic information and groupings have been presented on the background of the National Population and Housing Census 2002.
