The news release contains basic information characterizing the processes taking place in the Mazowieckie voivodship, among others in the area of labour market, agriculture, industry, construction, trade and prices. The information is characterized by rich graphics in the form of maps and cartograms. Selected information is presented in cross-sections by sectors and selected sections and powiats.

In 2024, 6,869.3 thousand tourists were accommodated in tourist accommodation establishments in Mazowieckie Voivodship, with 11,144.9 thousand overnight stays provided to them. Compared to 2023, it was more by 9.6% and 7.1%, respectively. The occupancy rate of bed places amounted to 45.2% and during the year increased by 0.5 pp.

In Mazowieckie Voivodship in 2024, a decrease in the number of population was recorded. One of the factors influencing the size of the population is natural increase, which in 2024 was negative – there were 15.3 thousand more deaths than live births. The second factor affecting the population is permanent net migration, which in 2024 was positive, but this did not compensate for population decline.

In 2024, there were 5,059.8 thousand tourists using tourists accommodation establishmnets in Warszawa, who were provided with 8,021.7 thousand overnight stays. Compred to 2023, it was more by 10.0% and 7.5%, respectively. The occupancy rate of bed places amounted to 53.4% and decreased during the year by 0.8 pp.
