Entities of the national economy in the REGON register in Mazowieckie voivodship as of the end of 2017

At the end of 2017, there were 809369 entities of the national economy registered, i.e. by 2.7% more than in the previous year. Over half of the units (53.7%) were based in the Capital City of Warszawa. The largest number of entities (24.0%) dealt with trade; repair of motor vehicles, however the highest growth compared to 2016 occurred in the section information and communication (by 9.0%). During the whole 2017, there were 69 liquidated units per every 100 newly registered entities.

Entities of the national economy in the REGON register in the Capital City of Warszawa as of the end of 2017

At the end of 2017, 434676 entities were registered in the national economy, i.e. by 3.7% more than in the previous year. In the total number of entities dominated natural persons conducting economic entity (53.3%). The largest number of entities (21.3%) dealt with trade; repair of motor vehicles, however the largest increase compared to 2016 was noted in the section information and communication (by 9.5%). Throughout 2017, there were 59 liquidated units per every 100 newly registered entities.

Economic activity of population in mazowieckie voivodship in the IV quarter 2017

In comparison with the third quarter of 2017, the number of the unemployed shaped at a significantly lower level, which had an impact on the decline in the unemployment rate. The number of employed persons decreased slightly, while the number of economically inactive persons rose, which contributed to the decline in the economic activity rate and employment rate.
