At the end of 2024, there were 1052760 entities of the national economy registered, i.e. by 4.1% more than in the previous year. More than half of the units (54.8%) had their seat in Warszawa. The largest number of entities (18.9%) declared that they operated in trade; repair of motor vehicles, however the highest increase as compared to 2023 occurred in the section of administrative and support service activities (by 7.3%).

At the end of 2024, there were 577380 entities of the national economy registered, i.e. by 4.5% more than a year before. In the total number of entities, natural persons conducting economic activity prevailed (54.8%). The majority of entities (19.3%) conducted professional, scientific and technical activities. Out of the total number of entities, the vast majority (91.1%) belonged to the private sector
